Eddie Latimer holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Auburn University, and has studied theology at Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is the father of three children.

Mr. Latimer is the CEO of Affordable Housing Resources, Inc. (AHR) and the founding director of The Resource Foundation, Inc. (TRF). AHR and TRF are 18-year old, non-profit housing development corporations whose mission is to create affordable housing and strong neighborhoods. Mr. Latimer helped to grow AHR and TRF into two of the largest non-profit housing organizations in the south, in terms of number of affordable homes built and number of first time homeowners assisted through their education and lending programs. AHR and TRF accomplish their mission by successfully partnering with public and private organizations at the local, state and national levels. With Latimer as CEO, Affordable Housing Resources and The Resource Foundation developed and sold over 1,000 single-family units and helped over 10,000 individuals and families with home-purchasing assistance through lending and counseling programs.

Latimer has nearly 20 years of experience in the affordable housing industry. Mr. Latimer is Chairman of Tennessee Housing and Development Agency’s Board of Directors, member of the Board of Directors of the National NeighborWorks Association, , Steering Committee Member of NeighborWorks America’s National Campaign for HomeOwnership, member of the External Relations Lobbying Committee for National NeighborWorks Association, member of the Fannie Mae National Housing Advisory Council, board member of the Chamber of Commerce’s Housing Committee, past chair of Nashville’s Affordable Housing Forum, founding member of the Association of Non-profit Executive Directors, board member of the Rotary Club of Nashville, 2002 Leadership Team of Leadership Nashville, the Nashville Enterprise Zone, board member of the Mayors Homestead Corp., and the past president of the Nashville Youth Hockey League.
